And That's the Truth

I like Dr. Laura. Love her or hate her, she usually is right on the money when it comes to "moral dilemas". As I listened to her tonight she had a caller on that wanted to know why her husband was upset. He was unable to help in the procreation process and she wanted to tell her children when they got older that their daddy really wasn't their daddy.

While Dr. Laura's jaw and mine were on the floor. This gal rationalized that she should do it because she just could not live with a lie. When Dr. Laura finally was able to speak she said, "So you have three kids right?" "Your thighs must look awful". After a pregnant pause the gal mentioned that that was rude. Dr. Laura went on to say "Exactly! Some things just should not be said. Even if they are true."

Ain't it the truth!

So the next time you want to tell someone the truth, think about your thighs.
